First-time buyers invited to explore new show home at Crewe development

Onward Living is set to open the doors to a new show home and sales office at its much-anticipated housing development in Weston, Crewe.

Signaller’s Croft is located off David Whitby Way and will initially offer 116 homes for Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy, helping first-time buyers to step onto the property ladder.

The distinctive development will include a mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties, as well as large areas of public open space. There are also plans for a brand-new primary school to be built alongside the site as part of Cheshire East Council’s masterplan for the Basford East area.

House-hunters will be able to explore the three-bedroom Hexham show home from 10am on Saturday 24 January. The team from Onward Living and specialist Shared Ownership mortgage advisors, Metro Finance, will be on hand to offer expert advice and answer any questions.

The first homes at Signaller’s Croft are available for Shared Ownership, a government-backed scheme which allows buyers to purchase a share of a property – typically between 10 and 75 per cent of its market value – and pay rent on the remaining share.

Prices start from £105,000 for a 40 per cent share of a three-bedroom home, with deposits from £5,250. Four-bedroom homes begin at £152,000 at a 40 per cent share, with deposits from £7,600.
